New Leaf Interiors is a Chicago based design firm specializing in working with residential and commercial clients to bring them environmentally sustainable interiors. Green design is important for all of us as we reassess our impact on the planet and how our choices and consumer behavior effects the world we live in and leave behind. Whatever your budget, we pride ourselves on sourcing state of the art materials that are Earth friendly and functional as well as visually pleasing.

Principal Karen Kaplan has 30 years experience in interior design, home furnishings and visual merchandising as well as being an accomplished artist and muralist. Karen also specializes in space planning , clutter clearing and storage issues and is well versed in the disciplines of Feng Shui and Vastu.

New Leaf Interiors is proud to be a member of the US. Green Building Council.C0-OP America's Business Network, The Chicago Sustainable Business Alliance, and the Sustainable Furniture Council. Karen has recently been featured on HGTV's New Spaces as well as in Chicago Home Magazine and the Chicago Tribune.
